The three phase motors WM series , closed , water cooled , manufactured according to the main international standards and particularly to the IEC 34 and 72 rules, are available in the same sizes, pole numbers and output power of EMA and EM series , since they make use of the same active components. The steel fabricated outer frame is so manufactured to create an outer cooling circuit.

The MEDIUM VOLTAGE motors size 400/500, series "HVM-HVC", have steel frame (cast iron for 355 frame size), are totally enclosed with IC 411 or 416 cooling and copper bars squirrel cage rotor (die casting for 355 frame size) such as to optimize operation with frequency converter supply.

The basic three phase FIMET motors have been modified in a suitable way in order to be installed in environments affected by potentially exploding atmospheres for dust and/or gas presence , in compliance with what has been defined by the 94/9/EC directive. In particular the following versions are available: Dust II 2D, zone 21 The asynchronous three phase motors of M2AX , MAX e MX series, in sizes from 63 up to 400 , have been homologated by the notified body INERIS n° 0080 and are marked: IP 65 , T 125 °C or T 135 °C or T 145 °C II 3D, zone 22 The asynchronous three phase motors of 3MAR series, in sizes from 63 up to 132 , and of M2AR, MAR and MR, in sizes 63 ÷ 400, have been homologated and internally certified and are marked: IP 55 , T 125 °C Gas II 3G, zone 2 The asynchronous three phase motors of M2AG , MAG e MG series, in sizes from 63 up to 315 , have been homologated by the notified body INERIS n° 0080 and are marked: II 3G EEx nA II T3 , or II 3G EEx nAC II T3 , or II 3GD EEx nA or nAC II T3 T 200 °C IP 55

The three phase motors MPR series , closed , externally fan ventilated , manufactured according to the main international standards and particularly to the IEC 34 and 72 rules, are available in the sizes from 180 up to 315, with single speed pole numbers 4, 6 and 8, from 15 kW up to 110 kW. Coming from EM series, they are featured by strong oversized dimensions and are equipped with a high resistance special rotor cage. Due to their particular Torque-RPM mechanical curve, they are particularly suitable for those applications where big variations of load and speed are foreseen, such as presses, hammers, marble-cutter frames and so on.

The three-phase motors M series, closed, externally fan cooled, manufactured according to the main international standards and particularly to the IEC 34 and 72 rules , are available in the sizes from 225 up to 400 , with single speed pole numbers 2, 4, 6 and 8 and others by request and in two speed version, either single or double winding.Available output power from 18,5 kW up to 560 kW. They are featured by cast iron frame with removable feet, by the IP 55 protection level, by the F class insulation, by bearings equipped with greasing facilities and by PTC type thermoprotectors on windings starting from size 280. Windings have been manufactured in such a way so as to let the standard version M motors run under Frequency Converter supply up to 400 V without any further particular measure.

The three-phase motors MA series, closed, externally fan cooled, manufactured according to the main international standards and particularly to the IEC 34 and 72 rules , are available in the sizes from 112 up to 200 , with single speed pole numbers 2, 4, 6 and 8 and others by request and in two speed version, either single or double winding.Available output power from 1,5 kW up to 37 kW. They are featured by aluminium die-cast frame with removable feet, by the IP 55 protection level, by the F class insulation and by shielded type for life lubricated bearings. Windings have been manufactured in such a way so as to let the standard version MA motors run under Frequency Converter supply up to 400 V without any further particular measure.

Selfbraking M2AO – MAO series , with DC brake The three-phase motors M2AO - MAO series, selfbraking, closed, externally fan cooled, manufactured according to the main international standards and particularly to the IEC 34 and 72 rules , are available in the sizes from 56 up to 160 and higher by request, with single speed pole numbers 2, 4, 6 and 8 and in two speed version, either single or double winding. Available output power from 0,04 kW up to 18,5 kW ( or bigger by request ). They are featured by aluminium die-cast frame with removable feet, by the IP 55 protection level, by the F class insulation and by shielded type for life lubricated bearings. The brake supply is single phase through rectifier bridge. Selfbraking M2AY – M2Y series , with AC brake The three-phase motors M2AY – M2Y series, selfbraking, closed, externally fan cooled, manufactured according to the main international standards and particularly to the IEC 34 and 72 rules , are available in the sizes from 71 up to 200 and higher by request, with single speed pole numbers 2, 4, 6 and 8 and in two speed version, either single or double winding. Available output power from 0,06 kW up to 37 kW ( or bigger by request ). They are featured by aluminium die-cast frame for sizes up to 160 and by cast iron frame for the bigger ones , by the IP 55 protection level, by the F class insulation and by shielded type for life lubricated bearings. The brake supply is three-phase.
